UX Software & Website Design for Lot Metrix

GETTING
GOING
As a product based around an already-inginuitive concept in a still-antiquated industry, Lot Metrix needed a complete coding rework, a facelift, and a critical eye to improve its experience.
After understanding their needs and looking into other systems in the industry, our design, dev, & account teams met to scope what would become a 3-year rework of the software.
Research & Scoping

MAPS & A COMPASS
Our developers, while familiar with the base code and overall structure of Lot Metrix, needed a better understanding of the functional format of Lot Metrix from a user standpoint.
I built site maps of both the "legacy" site and application as well as conceptual maps of the rebuild admin portal and iOS application to expand their understanding to the macro level.

THE WHO
&
THE HOW
Lot Metrix is all about roles. Every user is a part of the inter- connecting dialogue of RV relocation, sales, and servicing - and the information assimilation of every action and reaction.
I learned the structure of your average RV dealership, the do's and don't's of each role, and the sometimes-blurred lines dividing permission levels & made it easy for all teams to understand.
User Personas & Use Cases

FINE-
TUNING
Comp Delivery & Testing
Several rounds of design approvals, many long nights poking around in staging, a transition to new software ownership, and months of both internal and beta testing later found us moments away from launching the site with real data and users!
Throughout these 3 years, I've been the sole account manager on this project. It has redefined "comfort zone" in an account sense, and I couldn't be more proud of the progress.

TAKING
FORM
Once we established the boundaries, I helped take our team from concept to conception with concrete deliverables like UI-aligned component lists, page-by-page feature mapping, and a full suite of Wireframes down to the tiniest detail.
This undertaking included learning FTP & API Feed dynamics, cron scheduling, Quasar UI component library language, Adobe XD processes, data clustering, and much, much more!
Wireframing & UX Design
GETTING
SEEN
After extensive beta testing and a multi-company effort in Apple's TestFlight, Lot Metrix is ready to take to the big stage! Part of the effort is professional App Store visuals.
Mapping the user journey through App Store screenshots that show off the UI of the application while telling a story of capability and usability is paramount to an eye-catching and verifiable entry.

Project Planning
Client Rollout
Synchronizing international teams, development resources, partner timelines, and end-client needs and availabilities drives efficiency and frees up assets for the next project.
Outlining a timeframe based not on days but development hours kept our development team internally accountable while keeping external client pressure siloed to the account side. Using a scrum-based point system naturally prioritizes items per sprint.
