To simply define something that is neither easy to define nor simply put, BLVR Booking is a solution. The problem to be solved: how to support myself financially while positively impacting the Denton and Dallas/Ft. Worth music scene that I love so much.
The result was half a decade of unquantifiable commitment, joy, networking, hustling, and pouring my heart out into BLVR.

BLVR began in 2016 at a college house on Bolivar St, Denton, TX. As an umbrella for both concert promotion and freelance design services, it moved only at the pace at which I pushed it forward.
Through getting my degree, location changes, broken friendships, stressful jobs, and even becoming a salaried manager dedicating most of my time to Raze, BLVR consistently curated passionate and welcoming gigs, uniting fans across the metroplex to bands from all over, only halting at the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Math rock is a genre that uses odd time signatures and syncopations. In order to celebrate this genre I adore and cultivate the music scene in Denton, the first Plus Fest made its debut!

Mid-March is a free-for-all of touring bands coming through Texas. To capitalize on the proximity of the SXSW talent pool, we threw the first one-day installment of Plus Fest, Plus Fest 1.5, to bring math rock artists from all over the United States to Denton.

BLVR brought more out-of-town bands than ever before, including our first international festival act from Japan. Backyard on Bell was packed with showgoers, musicians, and vendors. Truly a step in the right direction

As the pandemic (hopefully) loosens its hold on the world, BLVR Booking will still be quiet.
A small hiatus is necessary to give time to moving, marriage, and syncronization with my new home in Denver, CO. This, however, is not the end.
